In a recent article [Will Your Old Hardware Handle the New Windows] I described a bug in Microsoft’s Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.
I’ve just received notification from Richard Zadorozny (Program Manager for the Upgrade Advisor project) that the new version is now available for download.
The developers seem confident that the earlier deficiencies have been addressed, but if you have any problems at all you should send an e-mail with full details to: wuabeta@microsoft.com.
I’d also appreciate a comment here if the new version works for you where the previous didn’t, or if you still encounter problems.
